PSSA – Pepper Spray Security Alarm
The Pepper Spray Security Alarm (PSSA) is a unique and proven means of keeping intruders out of your house, garage, office, warehouse, restaurants and sea containers containing company assets. It causes no damage to the area or its contents, does not incur long lasting effects on the intruder(s) and greatly minimizes the possibility of theft. The spray that is emitted is a pepper concentrate.
The PSSA is a self-contained unit made up of a sensor and mist spray that operates on a 12-volt supply controlled by remote to arm and dis-arm the security device. Designed as a portable security unit the PSSA can be easy installed by yourself and relocated to another premises if required. However should you want a contractor to install the PSSA, installers can easily be arranged to do the installation for you.
Upon intrusion, your PSSA unit will detect the intruder and spray a pepper concentrate mist into the air within the protected area for a few seconds. Intruders will be unable to stay in the area because of the pepper spray due to the tears and coughing it causes.
The PSSA will cease spraying once the sensor detects no movement, however if the intruders continuously attempt to enter the protected area the PSSA will continue to spray until the pepper concentrate canister is empty.
Signage must be displayed for legal purposes, to inform intruders of the installation of the specialized alarm system and installed at a height of 2200mm from the floor.
To remove the pepper spray mist in the affected area simply open doors and windows to allow the spray to escape.
